The program for this month’s meeting will be a look at flax – how it is grown and processed into linen yarn. We’ll take a look at the history of this fiber and learn about its use, advantages and drawbacks as a weaving fiber.
All recently completed projects are welcome for the show-and-tell portion of the meeting, but linen projects are especially welcome this month. Everyone who brings an item for show-and-tell will be entered in a drawing for a prize!
Finger food snacks or beverages to share are always appreciated.
